Solfeggio Tuning Forks Demonstrated | Healing Frequencies

What are Sacred Solfeggio frequencies / notes / harmonics?

These frequencies are not something new, but they are something very old.

BACK STORY:

Sound is measured in Hertz or Hz.

The tuning practice adopted for western cultures during the 16th century and still used today, is known as Twelve-Tone Equal Temperament. One reason for the change is that most instruments are easier to tune in this temerament. Another reason was to eliminate Wolf intervals that were created when using various Just intonation methods.

In Equal temperament, the distance between each step of the scale is the same interval.

You may recognize it as:

C-C#-D-D#-E-F-F#-G-G#-A-A#-B-C

or

C-Db-D-Eb-E-F-Gb-G-Ab-A-Bb-B-C.

Since all music in our contemporary [western] world (from commercials, to popular music and symphonies) has been composed utilizing the 12-Tone Equal Temperament Scale, it’s theorized that they all have vibrational limits.

Thus, vibrational frequency of the tones of modern music can create situations such as “boxed-in thinking,” stuffed and suppressed emotions; and fear-based ” lack” consciousness — all of which then tend to manifest into physical symptoms of ‘dis-ease’.

This is in contrast to music created from the Ancient Solfeggio Scale, which stimulates the vibration of expanded creativity, easier problem solving and holistic health.

The SOLFEGGIO SCALE uses a system of tuning known Just Intonation or  Pythagorean tuning. Frequencies of notes are related by ratios of whole numbers, with Pythagorean tuning using the ratio of 3:2.

Example – 128 Hz and 64 Hz – would be 2:1

The Solfeggio tone, Mi, vibrates to 528 Hz. The closest, comparable, contemporary tone is C5, above Middle C, which vibrates at approximately 523 Hz.

As we look at the six original Solfeggio frequencies [used by energy workers and bodyworkers for healing], using the Pythagorean method, we find the base or root vibrational numbers are 3,6, & 9. Nicola Tesla tells us: “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.”

The six main musical tones of the Solfeggio scale and their related ‘healing properties’ are as follows:

  1. UT – 396 Hz -associated with releasing emotional patterns | Liberating Guilt and Fear | Turning grief to joy | see RE-417Hz below.
  2. RE – 417 Hz -associated with breaking up crystallised emotional patterns | Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change | helping the person connect with their Source to bring forth miracles
  3. MI – 528 Hz – relates to crown chakra; | Transformation and Miracles  |DNA Repair | Dr. Puleo suggests an association with “DNA integrity”
  4. FA – 639 Hz – associated with whole brain quadrant interconnectedness. | Connecting/Relationships | Connecting with Spiritual Family
  5. SOL – 741 Hz – associated with intuitive states, non linear knowing. | Awakening Intuition | Solving Situations & Becoming more Intuitive
  6. LA – 852 Hz – associated with a pure love frequency: unconditional love  | Returning to Spiritual Order

The posibility that  528 Hz has the ability to repair DNA is not so far fetched to me after I learned about Cymatics. Cymatics is the study of wave phenomena; the ability of sound to organize and repattern matter.  Here’s a cool video illustrating how sound can manipulate media into geometric patterns.

Through music these tones can assist all the channels in staying open and keep the life force (the Chi) literally flowing thru the Chakra System quite freely.  Starting with the Root chakra using UT (396 Hz) up through the 6th chakra LA (852 Hz).  Sometimes, people use a tuning fork called OM for the crown chakra.

The Solfeggio tuning fork set I bought recently are fairly inexpensive forks.

There are 9 in this set, their frequencies are:

  • 174 Hz – Foundation
  • 285 Hz – Quantum Cognition
  • 369 Hz  – UT
  • 417 Hz – Re
  • 528 Hz – MI
  • 639 Hz – FA
  • 741 Hz – SOL
  • 852 Hz – LA
  • 963 Hz – Numinous Accord

Expect to pay at least $7 to 12 per fork when bought in a set.  $25-50+ if bought individually online.

Here’s a video of me demonstrating the solfeggio tuning forks:

Musician Jezibel Decibel [Jandy Rainbow] (YouTube) has composed some fascinating soundscapes that utilize binaural beats combined with solfeggio arpeggios. Visit her website for tons of samples

BINAURAL BEATS are a scientifically proven brain entrainment process that slowly started to gain recognition after an article called, Auditory Beats in the Brain, by Dr Gerald Oster, was published in the October 1973 edition of Scientific America.
Binaural beats work by sending two different Hz frequencies, to each ear via stereo headphones causing the left and right Brain hemispheres to work in unison to hear a phantom frequency or third tone, the centred Hz difference between the two tones.

Listening to Binaural sounds without headphones doesn’t have the same effect on the brain.

Deepak Chopra:

“Quantum physics has found that there is no empty space in the human cell, but it is a teeming, electric-magnetic field of possibility or potential.”

We should be continuously teaching while assisting people. The old paradigm teaches us to keep the information among the professionals. The new paradigm is to share the information, and empower the client.

  1. The part about binaural beats and headphones isn’t true. This phenomenon occurs so long as it’s heard in both ears. My friend who is deaf is in his right ear after a boot camp accident says he no longer hears these when he plays, but was well aware of them before.
